Among them, element C is one of the most important elements affecting the strength and toughness of the steel plate, and an appropriate amount of C can improve the strength and hardness of the steel plate, but an excessive amount of C will lead to an increase in the brittleness of the steel plate and reduce its ductility and toughness.
