A537 CL3 vessel steel plate is designed for pressure vessel applications. Pressure Vessel Steel Plate A 537 CL3 is a quenched and tempered steel material with the same heat treatment as A 537 CL2. 537 CL3 vessel plate quenching and tempering temperature is 620℃. A537 CL3 boiler plate is mainly used for welded pressure vessels where improved notch toughness is very important.
