Q355ND is a kind of low alloy high-strength steel plate, which is a kind of steel with good comprehensive performance and low-temperature toughness by adding appropriate amount of alloying elements and controlled rolling and cooling and other processes. The numerical designation is the grade in China's GB/T1591-2018, which was developed in the early 1980s and occupies a fairly important position in China's structural steel.Q355ND steel plate has good fatigue resistance, low-temperature toughness, corrosion resistance, and good processability, with good impact toughness and high yield strength at room temperature.
The mechanical properties of Q355ND steel plate should comply with the provisions of GB/T1591-2018, specifically including yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, impact work and other indicators. Yield strength is an important indicator of the toughness of the material, while tensile strength reflects the material's ability to resist damage, and elongation and impact work reflect the plasticity and impact resistance of the material. The specific values of these indicators can assess the mechanical properties and safety in use of steel plates.
Q355ND steel plate is commonly used in wind power projects, harbour machinery, lifting equipment, water conservancy and hydropower, hydraulic equipment, shipbuilding, mining and metallurgical machinery, engineering machinery, agricultural machinery and so on. It can also be used for cutting large mechanical equipment parts, such as conjoined bearing housing, equipment structure parts, large splicing welding flange, flange ring, connector welding manufacturing.
