Q420A, is a low alloy high strength structural steel. Implementation standard: GB1591-2008.
Q420A high strength low alloy structural steel plate has high strength, good fatigue resistance; high toughness and low brittle transition temperature; good cold forming properties and welding properties; good corrosion resistance and some wear resistance. High strength, especially in the normalized or normalized plus tempered state has high comprehensive mechanical properties.
420A high strength low alloy steel plate is mainly used for large ships, bridges, power station equipment, medium and high-pressure boilers, high-pressure vessels, rolling stock, super-heavy machinery, mining machinery, and other large-scale welded structural parts.
